LUCY BYRNE – Managing Director
Lucy is a trainer, project manager, mentor, facilitator, non-executive board director and provides strategic advice to a variety of our clients from governments, to not-for-profits and community organisations to educational institutions and the corporate sector.
As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Lucy acts with integrity, has the ability to think critically, focuses strategically and is often praised for her communication style. Lucy has been published in peer reviewed literature and presented her research at international conferences and represents community on numerous boards across the community and health sectors. Lucy is very familiar with change and in fact gets bored without it. She had almost 20 years as a public servant with local government, state government and the university in various roles focusing on health and systems improvement, but is now our powerhouse and Managing Director. Challenging traditional thinking and focusing on evidenced-based yet locally responsive co-designed outcomes is key to her approach.
Lucy’s ‘happy place’ is supporting her clients to be the best they can be, by working alongside them to manage change, improve their polices and processes, build capacity in their people and themselves so that they can get on with doing the important work they do in improving health outcomes for all Australians.
Give Lucy a call to find out how Healthy Tasmania can pull it all together for you and make it happen.
