THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT APPLIES TO:
The Healthy Tasmania website: a product under HEALTHY TASMANIA PTY LTD (ACN 35 611 185 801) (“Healthy Tasmania”): a company registered in Tasmania, Australia pursuant to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth);
Healthy Tasmania is committed to treating the personal information we collect in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”) and any other laws and regulations that may apply. This Privacy Statement sets out how Healthy Tasmania handles your Personal Information.
The kinds of Personal Information collected by Healthy Tasmania generally include:
Personal Information including names, addresses and other contact details, age, education, IP addresses and browser history, location data and financial information;
Sensitive Information including race, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, government identifiers, nationality and criminal records; and
Health Information including medical records, disabilities, immunisation details, individual health care plans, and nutrition and dietary requirements. Health Information is considered Sensitive Information for the purposes of the Privacy Act.
Healthy Tasmania may collect and use your Personal Information, including Sensitive Information and Health Information, for the primary purpose of future initiative promotions, project evaluation, and assisting you in the event that you require medical attention during participation in the activities provided and for other purposes relating to the primary purpose as are reasonably expected, or to which you have consented.
Healthy Tasmania will take all reasonable steps to make sure that your information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that your information is not up-to-date or is inaccurate, you must advise Healthy Tasmania as soon as possible.
Where your Personal Information, including Sensitive Information and Health Information, is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, Healthy Tasmania will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify it.
Consent relating to the collection of your personal information
You consent to Healthy Tasmania and the Licensee using your Personal Information for the primary purpose of future initiative promotions and project evaluation. You further consent to the use and disclosure of your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use and disclosure. You agree that your Sensitive Information, including Health Information, will be used by Healthy Tasmania only for the primary purpose for which it was obtained, for a secondary purpose directly related to the primary purpose, with your consent or where required or authorised by law.
You consent to your Personal Information, including Health Information, being disclosed to instructors and event organisers for the sole purpose of making them aware of any medical requirements or conditions you may have which are relevant to how they conduct the activity safely, and to the extent permitted by law. Your information may be disclosed to third parties without your consent where it is reasonably necessary to lessen or prevent a serious threat to life, health, safety or welfare or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
You agree that de-identified data and statistics collated from the information provided by you on this form will be provided to partners and funding bodies for analysis to ensure the programs are meeting the intended objectives.
Where reasonable and practicable to do so, Healthy Tasmania will collect your Personal Information, including Sensitive Information and Health Information only from you. However, in some circumstances, information may be provided by third parties. In such a case Healthy Tasmania will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided by the third parties.
Collection of your Computer Hardware and Software Information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be collected by Healthy Tasmania. This information may include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring web addresses. This information is used by Healthy Tasmania to maintain the quality of the services and to provide general data about the use of the website.
Disclosure of your Personal Information
Healthy Tasmania will not sell, trade, share, give or rent your Personal Information to third parties. Healthy Tasmania does not collect information about users from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organisations.
External Web Sites
The Healthy Tasmania website may contain links to third party websites. Please be aware that Healthy Tasmania is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. Users are encouraged to read the privacy statements of each third-party website that might collect, use, share or store your Personal Information.
Information Collected from Cookies
Healthy Tasmania may receive information from cookies. Cookies are pieces of data your browser stores and send back to Healthy Tasmania when making requests. Healthy Tasmania uses cookies to authenticate users, learn how you interact with our services, improve your experience, and improve the quality of our services.
Most web browsers are set by default to accept cookies. However, if you do not wish to receive any cookies you may set your browser to either prompt or refuse cookies. If you choose to refuse cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the services.
The First Party cookies used by Healthy Tasmania store your session information and security tokens for anti-forgery, to stop cross-scripting attacks. None of your Personal Information will be received from the use of these cookies; only system settings and configurations.
There are also third-party cookies in use that are used for the purposes described in this notice. For example, Healthy Tasmania uses Google reCAPTCHA (“reCAPTCHA”). The reCAPTCHA service is provided by Google. Healthy Tasmania uses reCAPTCHA to prevent various types of data processing abuse attempts. reCAPTCHA analyses various information about you, such as your IP address, your mouse movements and your length of stay. It collects Personal Information to determine whether the actions on Healthy Tasmania or our platforms are made by people. Your data is transferred to Google, which is then used to determine whether you are a human or a robot.
The reCAPTCHA algorithm checks whether Google cookies from other Google services have already been placed in your browser. Then, reCAPTCHA sets an additional cookie in your browser and takes a snapshot of your browser window.

Analytics
Healthy Tasmania uses analytics partners, such as Google Analytics, to help gather, collect and analyse data about usage and traffic on the Healthy Tasmania website. For example, Healthy Tasmania may use analytics partners to analyse and measure, in the aggregate, the number of unique visitors to the website.
Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the Healthy Tasmania website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States of America and stored there. Google might transfer the personal information collected via this technical procedure to third parties.
On behalf of Healthy Tasmania, Google will use your IP address to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on activity and to provide further services related to Healthy Tasmania. The IP address transferred through your browser to Google Analytics will not be combined with other data held by Google.
In addition, the website use the Analytics feature UserID to track interaction data. The User ID will be additionally anonymised and encrypted and will not be linked to any external data.

In addition, you may prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookies and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The browser add-on informs Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data and information about website visits may be transmitted to Google Analytics.
In addition, a cookie already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the internet browser or other software programs.

Changes to this Statement
Healthy Tasmania reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Statement. If we do, we will let you know by revising the date at the top of the policy. If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will provide you with additional notice. We encourage you to review the Privacy Statement whenever you access or use Healthy Tasmania services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy. If you continue to use the Healthy Tasmania services after the Privacy Statement changes go into effect, you will be deemed to have consented to the revised statement.
Access to your Information
If you would like to access Personal Information collected about you, please contact Healthy Tasmania.
There may be circumstances where it is not reasonable to provide you with access to the Personal Information that Healthy Tasmania holds about you. These circumstances may include where we believe that providing access would be unlawful, or if it would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy or safety of others.
