Dr RACHEL BREEN - Health and Evaluation Consultant
Everyone raves about Rach. Rachel is a behaviour change consultant, researcher and psychologist, with a PhD (medical studies). Her passion is helping people to be the healthiest they can be.
With a particular interest in promoting smoking cessation, Rachel has been honing her skills through her PhD work. She has published in academic peer-reviewed journals, written program evaluation reports, and has presented her research at national and international conferences.
If that doesn’t keep her busy enough, Rachel also works part time as a provisional psychologist at the Tasmanian e-school and casually as a tutor at the University of Tasmania teaching students about health psychology and research methods. Her happy place when she is out in the community creating partnerships and evaluating outcomes.
Rachel brings her clinical insights and research knowledge to the Healthy Tasmania team and is focusing on the Smoke-Free project for City Mission.
