Our MD Lucy awarded the AICD Tasmanian Emerging Director for 2022.
Ms Lucy Byrne GAICD has been named as the winner of the 2022 Tasmanian Emerging Director Award by the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Ms Byrne is a non-executive director with more than 10 years board experience across business, health and sporting organisations, and is a leading figure in her field as a community and health professional.

Stickers of school kids to encourage safe driving around schools
A community-led road safety pilot program is being rolled out in Launceston's Northern suburbs, encouraging motorists to slow down.
The Slow Down Save Lives pilot program has been supported by the City of Launceston, the Department of State Growth, Healthy Tasmania, Starting Point Neighbourhood House and the Northern Suburbs Community Centre and was designed to remind motorists to prioritise the safety of all road users. According to the Department of Health, over 14,000 people in Tasmania have been required to isolate since borders opened and COVID entered the community.

Data from the National Diabetes Service Scheme shows over 1.2 million people across Australia have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, with 66,000 occurring in the last 12 months.

This was a key finding of the final report from the Premier's Economic and Social Recovery Advisory Council, including a wellbeing survey involving more than 3000 Tasmanians from across the state. Free Equipment to get Ravenswood active
The date is 20 August 2020 and we delivered one of ten FREE exercise sessions at the Ravenswood Men's and Community Shed (MACS). The sessions are an extension of the Active Launceston project utilising the brand-new fitness equipment and made possible through funding from the Stronger Communities Programme with support from Member for Bass Bridget Archer, Starting Point Neighbourhood House and the City of Launceston.

In May 2020 we launched an online webinar series of free sessions that focus on how you can stay 'mentally well' during the isolation period. From clown doctors to mindfulness coaches, this series brought out a lot of laughs and gave a lot of people some ideas to stay well.
